 When: Saturday, December 24th, seatings at 11 am & 1 pm.

 What: Special 5 course brunch !

guac & salsas with smoked bacon, tequila cranberry, saged cashew, five salsas, crispy fried masa crisps

course two.

acai bowl with strawberry, banana, green tea crumb, blueberry, pistachio granola

course three.

christmas hash: crispy sweet potato, grilled shrimp, crispy pork belly, toasted poblano cream

course four. (choose one of the following)

mexican cinnamon stuffed french toast with cinnamon cream cheese, ginger-blackberry syrup, acai powdered sugar 

smoked salmon benedictos with poached eggs, green chile hollandaise, pan fried cornbread, smoked pork butter 

breakfast tacos with chorizo or bacon, 1201 scramblers, avocado, queso fresco, blistered tomato salsa  

course five.

 we will be offering a full range of brunch cocktails including: bloody mary's, bellinis, mimosas, etc.

In endless pursuit of trying to find the right gift for that loved one, co-worker or friend, and after great demand, we will be offering two cooking classes! 

All classes will be run by chef Dan Kern and 1201's sous chef Adam Williams!  We will include a beautiful certificate to present as a gift!!

Class #1: Contemporary Japanese Fundamentals, January 14th 12:30 pm-3:30pm

Students will explore basic and intermediate technique for creating contemporary japanese cuisine! Including but not limited to:
SUSHI: cooking sushi rice properly, seasoning sushi rice, rolling technique, flavor combinations
JAPANESE BROTHS: creating simple, savory japanese broths that can be used for soups, ramen, etc.
KNIFE SKILLS: using simple knife techniques to accomplish new & creative dishes
RAMEN: using tares, creating a balanced bowl, history of regional ramen
BEVERAGE PAIRING: using traditional and non-traditional drinks to pair with your japanese food!

All classes include food & beverages! We eat & drink what we create!

Class #2: Contemporary Mexican Fundamentals, January 21st 12:30pm-3:30pm

Students will explore basic and intermediate technique for creating contemporary mexican cuisine! Including but not limited to:
GUACAMOLE: creating the perfect guac, flavor combinations, proper seasoning
SALSAS: using several mexican techniques to create robust, flavorful salsas.
KNIFE SKILLS: using simple knife techniques to accomplish new & creative dishes
CHILE RELLENOS; creating one of mexico's most beloved dishes
BEVERAGE PAIRING: using traditional and non-traditional drinks to pair with your japanese food!

All classes include food & beverages! We eat & drink what we create!

Cost:$75 per person. Includes food, beverage and all necessary items and equipment to complete class.
All classes are capped at 15 students
